Welcome to February-the month of love!

Love to others, but more importantly, love to ourselves. Through this newsletter I am holding an intention to send love to each and everyone of you. No matter where you are & what you do-know that you are loved, cared for, and important. Today, I want to dedicate to you some mantras and loving-kindness meditation to inspire you even more to experience love within and share the love everyday with everyone around!

 

 

5 Mantras to Inspire More Self-Love

 

 

Mantras are a part of the Hindu and Buddhism religions. According to Merriam-Webster, a mantra is “a word or phrase that is repeated often or that expresses someone’s basic beliefs.” It is often associated with praying or meditating. 

5 Powerful Self-Loving Mantras:

  1. I love myself. I am a beautiful, unique spirit. There is no one else quite like me.

  2. I am worthy of love. As a creature on this earth, I am worthy of being loved and cherished by others. My worth is untarnished by my imperfections or the way others see me.

  3. I am worthy of good things. It is ok to want the best for myself and to pursue the things that bring me joy and happiness.

  4. I can choose positive thoughts. I understand the power of my self-talk and choose to select thoughts that are uplifting and positive.

  5. I let my happiness be visible to others. My happiness overflows from me. I can use my happiness to bring joy to others.

As you repeat these phrases, picture yourself as you are now, and hold that image in a heart of loving kindness. Practice this meditation for a number of weeks, until the sense of loving kindness for yourself grows.

May I be filled with loving kindness.

May I be safe from inner and outer dangers.

May I be well in body and mind.

May I be at ease and happy.
